Who am I?

My name is Perrine Bois, my artist name is Pwood.

I have been a freelance painter and designer since 2023. A former jeweler, jeweler, and setter, I graduated from an art school.

I grew up in Eure-et-Loir and thanks to my studies, I was able to discover and work in different workshops in France: Bourges, Orléans, Perpignan, Paris. But also in the Czech Republic. Working for major brands, I was able to assemble jewelry pieces for Cartier, Piaget, Van Cleef and Arpels among others.

From a very young age, I felt the desire to express myself artistically: drawing, painting, sculpture... I always managed to realize my idea easily.

I have an eclectic career path, being interested in many fields, I went from the world of early childhood, to art, then to animals as well as agriculture. My artistic abilities were buried inside me and I ended up no longer exploiting them. I made one or two drawings a year to give to my friends or family.

But at the age of 30, several events turned my life upside down. I decided to open a Third Place in which I would offer several activities, such as workshops for customizing furniture and objects with recycled materials. Then, during a training course on entrepreneurship, I met someone to whom I showed my drawings and paintings. I can say that this person opened my eyes by explaining to me that I had a gift. From then on, I only had one desire: to paint, draw, and give free rein to my emotions that had been buried for too long. And there I was! I started my own business as an independent painter and designer.
